Car Ignition Lock Plastic Housing

This product is very special. It holds the key cylinder. It also holds the lock core. And it must survive thousands of key insertions and removals. Our car ignition lock plastic housing uses PA66 with 50% glass fiber. Why add so much glass fiber? Because the strength requirement is very high. A key is inserted and pulled out several times a day.

Over ten years, that is tens of thousands of cycles. The product must not crack. PA66 is already strong. Adding 50% glass fiber doubles its stiffness. The heat deflection temperature also goes up. In summer, the car interior can reach 70–80°C. The product will not soften.

We have made this product for many years. We have supplied it to General Motors, BYD, and Haima. You might ask: is injection molding with 50% glass fiber difficult? Yes, it is difficult. High glass fiber content makes the material flow poorly. Both mold design and process settings must be adjusted.

Our 34 years of experience make this challenge manageable. Our factory is 5,000 square meters. We have 80 workers, more than 20 technical staff, and over 60 injection machines. Monthly capacity is 3 million shots. Annual output and fixed assets both exceed 40 million RMB. We have IATF16949.

We do first-piece inspection and patrol inspection on the car ignition lock plastic housing. Critical dimensions are measured with a CMM. You can also send a third party to inspect. For custom development, you send a drawing or sample. We give samples in 50 days.

We have mold flow analysis capability. We can predict filling problems and glass fiber orientation issues before cutting steel. After-sales has a dedicated person. Damaged goods are replaced by actual count. Note: This product can be vacuum coated. Coating makes the surface more wear-resistant and gives a better appearance. You can choose this option if needed.
