Product Overview
Car Key Injection Molded Parts are separately supplied plastic components for remote-key and smart-key manufacturing. The range includes upper and lower shells, button caps, battery covers, internal frames, and key-ring pieces used by assemblers building multiple key-housing variants.
Core Advantages
Coordinated Interfaces across a Part Family
Upper shells, lower shells, buttons, and battery covers are controlled as one component family. Consistent snap joints, seams, supports, and openings reduce rework when the separate parts are assembled around the PCB and battery.
PA6 and PC in Single- or Two-Color Molding
PA6 and PC support structural shells, internal frames, rigid button sections, and separate grip zones. Single-color and two-color injection allow the material layout to follow the function of each individual key part.
Decorated Parts Ready for Downstream Assembly
Vacuum coating, electroplating, and laser engraving add logos, symbols, trim areas, and button markings before the components enter final key assembly. Decorative zones remain separated from snap joints, PCB supports, and battery interfaces.

Customization Capabilities
Component and Tooling Scope
Available parts include shell halves, buttons, battery doors, internal frames, key-ring pieces, screw posts, snap features, and related molded components. New parts may follow drawings, physical samples, or mating-component data.
Material and Molding Layout
PA6 or PC resin grade, body color, two-color boundary, wall thickness, ribs, texture, gate position, and local structural details may be set separately for each component number.
Brand and Surface Zones
Logo position, molded symbols, laser marks, vacuum-coated areas, electroplated trim, gloss, texture, and masking boundaries may follow the brand artwork and part drawing.
Quality Control
Part-Family Dimensional Control
The first piece is checked for the mating seam, snap joints, button guides, battery-cover engagement, PCB supports, screw posts, and key-ring interfaces across the related component numbers.
Cavity, Color, and Molding Consistency
Patrol checks cover flash, incomplete filling, sink marks, flow lines, warpage, color difference, and cavity variation so separately molded parts assemble into the same key-housing family.
Surface Process and Part Identification
Coating coverage, plating appearance, laser-mark position, scratches, masking boundaries, and part identification are inspected before the components are separated for packing.
FAQ
Q1: How are Car Key Injection Molded Parts packed?
A1: Shells, buttons, and decorated parts are separated by part number and surface condition to protect visible finishes, snap features, and small components during export transport.
Q2: What payment term is used?
A2: The payment term is 100% prepayment.
Q3: Can the parts be supplied as loose components or complete housing sets?
A3: Both formats are available. Packing may follow individual part numbers or a defined set containing the shell halves, buttons, battery cover, and other specified pieces.
Q4: Can an existing mold be used for additional colors?
A4: Yes, when the resin, shrinkage, finish, and molding process remain compatible with the existing tool and no geometry change is required.
