The Engine Start Stop Switch is a round dashboard push-button used to replace or supplement a mechanical ignition control in 12V vehicle systems. It is installed in keyless-entry conversions, classic-car restoration projects, and vehicle control panels that require a separate illuminated start and stop interface.

Red-to-Green Illumination with Soft Rubber Top

The button illuminates red when the vehicle is off and green when it is on. The lighted circuit has a stated 1 A current draw, and the soft rubber top gives a consistent contact surface during repeated operation.

Quality Control

Mechanical-Life Test

The switch is cycled to the stated 100,000-push requirement while return action, sticking, travel, and contact response are monitored. Spring performance is checked after the cycle test.

IP65 and Mounting Verification

The assembled switch is tested against the IP65 requirement and checked in a 20 mm panel fixture for seating, retention, bezel contact, and rear-wire clearance.

Electrical and Illumination Inspection

Each specified configuration is checked at 12V DC for ground, power, and signal continuity, red and green light states, current draw, and wire identification.
