In Vehicle Wireless Charging Module

This in vehicle wireless charging module has three coils. The input voltage is DC 12V with ±10% tolerance. That means it works from 10.8V to 13.2V. The average standby current is 25 mA. When no phone is on it, the module uses very little power. The maximum charging efficiency is 80%. We tested it with an iPhone.

The efficiency stayed around 75%. The charging distance is 2 to 4 mm. Your phone can have a case and still charge. One customer made car armrests. He hid this product under the leather. The phone charged right through the leather. You could not see the module.

This in vehicle wireless charging module supports 5W, 7.5W, 10W, and 15W. It picks the right power automatically. The protocols are PD3.0 for input and WPC Qi v1.2.4. We use a PID algorithm to control power. The power changes smoothly without disconnecting. It also has FOD foreign object detection. If you put keys or a coin on it, the module knows.

It will not charge and will not get hot. The protections are complete. There is overcurrent protection for 5V, 9V, and 12V lines. NTC overheat protection trips at 65°C ±5°C. Undervoltage cuts off below 4.5V. Overvoltage cuts off above 13.5V. When the temperature drops to 55°C ±5°C, it recovers. The lock time is 10 minutes. That means after a fault, it waits 10 minutes before restarting.

This product has two LED lights. The green light blinks during power-up. It stays on when ready. It stays on when charging is done. It blinks if something is wrong. The red light blinks during power-up. It stays on while charging. It blinks for overheat, overvoltage, or other faults. You can tell the status at a glance. The size is 59 x 100 mm. Working temperature is -20°C to 60°C. Storage temperature is -30°C to 85°C. Humidity must stay below 70%.

The upgrade method is by a burner. It is not OTA. We have our own injection and stamping shops. We made the shell for this in vehicle wireless charging module ourselves. We ran a 1000-hour continuous charge test for BYD. The module did not overheat or slow down. We give a 2-year warranty.
