Product Overview
Plastic loop clamps are molded retaining clips for automotive interior panels, appliance shells, trim pieces, and other fitted plastic components, pressing into a matching hole or slot so their flexible features engage the mating part and hold the assembly together.
Core Advantages
Insertion Force of 20-50 N
The lead-in angle and flexing legs are set for an insertion force of 20-50 N. On the production line, the clip can reach its full locking position without excessive force from the operator or installation fixture.
Pull-Out Force of 50-150 N
Undercut and engagement depth are adjusted for a pull-out force of 50-150 N. In the specified panel hole, the installed clip stays engaged during vibration, trim movement, and normal service loads.
At Least 10 Installation Cycles
PA6 gives the legs elastic recovery, while POM provides a stiff, low-friction contact surface. A serviceable design can complete at least 10 installation and removal cycles without leg fracture or permanent loss of retention.

Customization
We can match the stem diameter, head or loop shape, panel-hole size, panel thickness, engagement depth, insertion and pull-out targets, PA6 or POM material, anti-rattle contact geometry, color, and molded identification to the panel stack.
Quality Control
Inspection fixtures reproduce the specified panel hole, thickness, and engagement depth. Sampled parts are tested for insertion and pull-out force. After repeated installation, the flexing legs are checked for whitening, cracks, and permanent deformation. Lot approval also covers stem dimensions, undercut geometry, short shots, and damage at contact surfaces.
FAQ
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: The standard MOQ is 10,000 pieces for one clamp structure.
Q: How are small clamps packed?
A: Clamps are counted by weight or quantity control, sealed in labeled inner bags, and packed in export cartons. When a set definition is supplied, assembly-kit quantities can also be packed.
Q: Do all loop clamps use the same removal method?
A: No. Tool-free service clips and tool-release clips use different undercut and access geometry. The removal method must be defined before the mold is finalized.
Q: Can one clamp be used across several trim panels?
A: One clamp can be shared only when the panel hole, panel stack, engagement depth, and force targets stay within the validated range. Different mating conditions need separate fit and retention confirmation.
